A few years back, Caterpillar‘s Director of North American Marketing asked me to create a campaign and all aspects for the national launch of Mike Rowe Works by Cat Footwear. My partner and I were responsible for everything from consumer and trade magazine ad development, all the way down to the package design and those little tags that hang on the boots. Since that successful launch, we’ve also been asked to help with national and international campaign development for the relaunch of their Flexion line of industrial workboots, NASCAR sponsorship, Unworkboots, and EASE technology.
Since 2008, I’ve been working with Marquette University on the development of a fully-branded scholarship aid fundraising campaign. What started with a brainstorming session over a cup of coffee has grown into a twelve year partnership with University Advancement and the Office of Marketing & Communications teams. During that tenure, the program has been expanded throughout the university and has increased alumni participation and increased fundraising throughout the university.
The work on this page consists of two campaigns created for the student scholarship initiative that have run for over 5 years with great participation and financial success for the students.
Fountain Powerboats is one of the premiere manufacturers of ultra high-performance speed boats, sport cruisers and offshore fishing boats. In this integrated campaign I created a branded look for their ads, collateral, POP and social media. I was lucky enough to work with one of the best digital artists to help bring this look and feel together.

I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to help create the on-field signage for Milwaukee No. 1 orthopedic hospital and their partnership with the newest minor league baseball team in the state. My awesome account guy got me the budget to get custom photography to help us create a on-of-a-kind look for our client.
It was an honor to work with Scheels Sporting Goods for over eight years. As one of the nations largest sporting goods and fashion retailers, their expectations for story telling in national broadcast was extremely high. The point their ongoing campaign was to highlight that their full-time sales associates are also full-time experts in their field of work, along with their large selection of fashion options.
Manpower was looking for a new fresh campaign to help show how their new internal job training program can help their current employees go further in their organization. The two campaigns were created for the US and European markets. This integrated campaign included print, social, outdoor and a raised website.
Sculpture Milwaukee is a non-profit organization transforming downtown Milwaukee’s landscape every year with an annual outdoor exhibition of world-renowned sculpture. This guerrilla campaign was all about location and finding spaces to engage the public throughout Wisconsin Avenue.
Most retailers would kill to have the loyal customer following that Scheels has in its 27 stores in 13 states. For over eight years I worked to help expand and engage their consumers through TV, radio, print and online communications. This recent campaign is designed to reinforce Scheels position as the active lifestyle retailer with experts in every specialty shop. Others position Scheels as a destination retailer.
I began working with the marketing team of Wisconsin’s #1 furniture and mattress retailer back in 2012. We started by assessing and adjusting communication and creative strategies for the Wisconsin and Illinois markets. The marketing partnership has created new branded television, radio and out-of home campaigns for sale events and led to increased sales without increased costs.
While running my own agency we became a preferred vendor for Kohler Co., and they were a preferred fixtures for our office. We have created work for multiple divisions and product categories, including Kitchen and Bath, and Kohler Power. Some of the work I’ve done includes international product launch, logo development, product naming, print, outdoor and brochure development, as well as competitive market analysis.
In this Campaign that I created for Cat Footwear, we were asked to create a strategy, look and feel for the emerging millennial, next generation work force. In the “Built For It” campaign we championed the idea of hard work with the juxtaposition of social media and the authentic CAT look and feel. This integrated campaign consisted of print ads, out of home, in-store advertising, and social media.
Summerfest is the world's largest live outdoor music festival. This annual music extravaganza is held in Milwaukee, WI. for eleven days every summer. This is some of the proposed work I created with an old-school music venue screen printing feel.
OSCAR MIKE is a unique apparel company created by injured veterans who collaborated to create an impactful nonprofit for their peers. While at my former agency, I was tasked with creating a unique look and feel for this unique brand. The sales from their apparel are used to fund injured veteran retreats to return these former soldiers back to an active lifestyle. The creative team and I worked to create a look that would stand out and stand apart for their competitive teams, their events, and site.
There are only a few elite boat lines that have withstood the test-of-time and continue to persevere to this day. They are called "Classics" and nobody mixes vintage styling with modern technology quite like Donzi. When you own a Donzi Classic you know heads will turn every time you take to the water. This is the integrated campaign that I directed the look and feel of the print ads, social ads, collateral and even the POP.
In 2020 Landmark Credit Union became the presenting sponsor for the Milwaukee Admirals hockey team. I was asked to create a campaign to promote this new partnership. I created videos for TV, the in-game video, and digital ads with real sourced footage. We also created an on-premise signage campaign throughout The Panther Areana.
